Provides loans to support 8 weeks of payroll and operation expenses (up to $10 million). Loans will be deferred for 6 months and will be forgiven by SBA if at least 75% is used for payroll.

Provides low-interest federal disaster loans of up to $2 million for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in declared disaster areas. Also provides an advance of up to $10,000.

Small Business Administration Debt Relief

The SBA will automatically pay the principal, interest, and fees of any current or new 7(a), 504, or microloans issued by the SBA. This relief is not applicable to the Economic Injury Disaster Loan.

Small Business Administration Express Bridge Loans

For small businesses that have a current relationship with an SBA Express lender, provides loans up to $25,000. These loans can provide quick economic support to overcome the temporary loss of revenue while applying for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan.

  • Can be used while applying for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan.
  • Small businesses are eligible

Tax Credits for Paid Leave

For businesses with 500 or fewer employees, provides refundable tax credits for employers subject to expanded paid leave requirements under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).

  • Applies to wages paid between April 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020
  • Small/Mid-size businesses are eligible

Tax Relief

Delays and defers estimated quarterly tax payments and employer payroll taxes but does not cancel these taxes. Provides payroll tax credits capped at $10,000 per employee for employers who are not able to provide services due to COVID-19.

  • Deferred payroll taxes are due in two installments: 50% by December 31, 2021, and 50% by December 31, 2022

Industry-Specific Support (Airline Carriers and Contractors)

Appropriates funds for loans and loan guarantees to help specific industries impacted by the pandemic. Specifically, the bill would allocate up to $50 billion for passenger air carriers, up to $8 billion for cargo air carriers, and up to $150 billion for other eligible businesses.

Provides grants of up to $100,000 to manufacturers to 1) increase existing capacity to produce critical health care need items or 2) quickly pivot operations to produce these critical need items. You can apply here.
